Since 1979, Dr. Wimberley has worked with students and those who serve students daily. Currently, he serves as the Chief Education Architect for a non-profit public school system with approximately 21,500 students and 1500 employees. Dr. Wimberley works directly with, and under the supervision of, the Chief Executive Officer to design and implement learning systems for 21st century learners.
Responsive Education Solutions is the largest public charter school system in the state of Texas. His primary focus is designing and implementing innovative education systems for students, as well as training those educators in those systems. This work has created new schools within the district designed for high expectation elementary students, new school campuses for middle school students blending personalized and teacher-directed environments, and high schools integrating personalized learning with 21st century technology.
Dr. Wimberley’s position allows the capacity to serve as an adjunct professor and he currently teaches graduate and undergraduate educators onsite and online at the university level. His doctoral major is Education Administration and his minor is Computer Education & Cognitive Systems.
His latest book, “Reshaping the Paradigms of Teaching and Learning: What’s Done Today is Education’s Future”, is set for release in the summer of 2016.
Dr. Wimberley has been extensively involved in accreditation interests, serving on the Texas State Council of AdvancED (Southern Association of Colleges & Schools). He has led several school districts through the accreditation process including Responsive Education Solutions becoming “one of the first 200 school systems” in the nation to achieve a systems accreditation distinctive (Dr. Mark Elgart, President – SACS).
Working alongside dedicated and passionate educators, Dr. Wimberley is committed to the idea that education systems must transform to a 21st century model that recognizes the uniqueness of learners and the capacity of intellectual resources to personalize authentic learning experience.

Relocated to Arkansas in April 2014 to oversee major educational projects for several company charter campuses and partnerships with several public school districts.
